Obituary of Robert L. Baker

Robert L. Baker, age 75, a longtime resident of Delaware County, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday November 20, 2016, where he was surrounded by his family. He retired after many years of service with Delaware County. Bob was active in local politics, and served on the zoning board in Folcroft, PA and Chester, PA. He was a brother in the St. Alban's Masonic Lodge #529 F&AM Philadelphia, PA, Scottish Rite 32nd Degree, Benjamin Franklin Consistory, and the Shriners, Lulu Temple, Plymouth Meeting, PA. Bob loved going to Wildwood, NJ, the Phillies, his dog Gracie, and a nice cut of prime rib. Most of all, Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling. Bob will be remembered for his beautiful smile and his zest for life. Predeceased by his parents, Robert L. and Beatrice Baker. Survivors: Daughter: Michelle D. (Keith) Jones and Son: Robert L. Baker, III. both of Newark, DE Fiance: Alma Wigington and her son Scott Wigington of Wilmington, DE Sisters: Marrijo Baker of Brookhaven, PA and Belle (Mike) Miller of Media, PA Also survived by many nieces and nephews Funeral Mass: Saturday, November 26th at 10:30AM at the Church of St. John the Beloved, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington, DE 19808.
