Obituary of Carol Bastian Kollevoll

1930 - 2016 Carol Bastian Kollevoll, age 86, of Middletown Twp., PA, formerly of Sarasota, FL, and Wallingford, PA, died peacefully November 30, 2016, at Riddle Village, Media, PA. She was born August 4, 1930, in Akron, OH, to the late Charles Lewis and Margaret Phyllis (Jones) Wright. Carol was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School, 1948 and attended Akron University. She was an executive with Orb Industries, Inc. of Upland, PA, where she worked for 11 years, before retiring in 1995. Carol was a member of The Meadows Country Club, The Springhaven Country Club and Springton Tennis Club. She enjoyed service work at Baby Basics in Sarasota, FL, lecturing at Weight Watcher's, leading both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, teaching Sunday School at Christian Science Church, and was a member of the Nether Providence PTA. Carol was an avid skier, reader, tennis player, golfer and bridge player. She loved traveling within the United States as well as abroad. She loved her family dearly and cherished her friendships. Carol was the loving wife of the late James Willis Bastian, who died in 1984, and Olav Bernt Kollevoll who died in 2010. She was predeceased by her siblings David Wright, Lewis Wright and Phyllis (Wright) Glazier.
