Obituary of Robert Bennett Bristow

Robert Bennett Bristow, age 83, of Aston, PA, died Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. Bob was employed for 17 years with Aldon Rug Mills in Lenni, PA, where he met his beloved wife, Nancy. Bob retired in 1995 from Concord Beverage in Concordville, PA. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Chester, PA, for more than 50 years. Bob cherished family trips and traveling, visiting 43 out of the 50 States. Bob enjoyed watching sports and television. He also had a fantastic relationship with his many Nieces and Nephews and their families, which many people envied. Bob was predeceased by his infant son, Robert Bennett, Jr., his parents, Bennett and Amelia Bristow; brothers: John, William, Harry and Richard; sisters: Doris, Leah, Mildred and Helen. Survivors: Loving Wife of 61 years: Nancy A. (Carroll) Bristow Daughter: Robin Bette (Donald) Williams Sons: Robert Bruce (Charlotte) and Richard Bennett (Pierina) Bristow Sister: Eleanor Smith Grandchildren: Joanna and Devon Williams and Diana Lam Also survived by 2 Great-Grandsons and many Nieces and Nephews Funeral Service: Monday, March 20th at 11:00AM at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 733 W. 9th Street, Chester, PA 19013. Visitation: Sunday, March 19th from 7:00-9:00PM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. # 352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063, and Monday, March 20th from 9:30-10:30AM at the Trinity United Methodist Church.
