Obituary of Lewis Strickler

Lewis Strickler, age 85, of Chester, PA, formerly of Boothwyn and Garden City, died Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Belvedere Nursing Home. Lewis enjoyed playing the bones and was a member of the Chichester Alumni Band. Lewis was devoted to his family and cherished his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Son of the late Lewis L. and Lucy (Lewis) Strickler; husband of the late Barbara (Kilpatrick) Strickler; brother of the late Eleanor Harlon; grandfather of the late Joseph William DiMaulo.

Survivors:

Son: Allen (Robin) Strickler

Daughters: Kim Strickler-Willis, and Tina (William Scott) DiMaulo

Grandchildren: Jennifer, Officer Trista, Daniel and Anthony

10 Great-Grandchildren

Girlfriend: Eileen Cowdell   

Funeral Service: Thursday, February 15th at 12:30PM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Visitation: Thursday, February 15th after 11:30AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
