Obituary of Daniel Selskis

Daniel B. Selskis, age 92, a 5 year resident of Chestnut Ridge, Chester, PA, died at home surrounded by family, on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. He was born and raised in Duryea, PA, formerly of Aston, PA and Ocean View, DE. Dan was a Veteran of the US Army, serving during World War II. He worked with Chester Salt, and Allied Chemical, before retiring in 1985, from Scott Paper. He especially enjoyed fishing and crabbing and was a loyal Phillies and Eagles fan. Dan was preceded in death in 2013 by his wife of 66 years, Helen Russick Selskis. SURVIVORS Two Daughters: Rosemary (Philip) Heth and Nancy (Nick) Daciw Three Grandchildren: Daniel (Lynn) Heth, Deborah Heth and Jill (Bob) Daciw-Socash Two Great-Grandchildren: Reagan and Mason Heth Services and Interment are private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in memory of Daniel Selskis to St. Hedwig R.C. Church Maintenance Fund, and mailed to St. Hedwig Maintenance Fund, c/o Sacred Heart Parish, 316 E.
