Obituary of Anthony Joseph DiVito

Anthony Joseph DiVito "Tony", age 85, of Glen Mills, PA, and formerly of Aston, PA, died surrounded by his loving family, Thursday, January 22, 2015, at Fair Acres, PA. Tony attended St. James Catholic High School, and was a proud St. James Bulldog. He played on the championship baseball team and made All Catholic Quarterback, attaining the nickname "Tossing Tony." Tony worked with Scott Paper Company for 40 years, retiring in 1988. He was responsible for organizing the Scott Paper Breakfast Club. Tony was a member of the Aston Twp. Lions Club and organized the Lions White Cane Collection. Tony was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who especially cherished spending time with his grandchildren. Brother of the late Kathryn Fry and David DiVito. Survivors: Loving Wife of 62 years, Norma J. (Phillips) DiVito Daughter, Margaret E. DiVito (Mark Hoffman) of Margate, NJ, Son, Daniel J. DiVito (Jean) of Ridley Township, PA Grandchildren, Daniel DiVito, Jr., Alexandra DiVito and Lindsay McCabe Also survived by Nieces and Nephews Funeral Service: Thursday 1:30 PM, at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Township, Media, PA Visitation: Wednesday 6:00 – 9:00 PM, where there will be a Lions Club Service at 7:00 PM, and Thursday 12:30 – 1:30 PM, at the funeral home Interment: Mt.
