Obituary of Dorothy M. Imburgia

Dorothy M. Ciabattone Imburgia, "Dottie" age 68, of Glen Mills, PA, formerly of Middletown Twp., PA, died Friday, February 20, 2015, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Dottie was born and raised in West Philadelphia, PA, and was a 1964 graduate of West Catholic High School. Mrs. Imburgia worked briefly at the Brookhaven District Court, where she was a proud employee of the late Judge Walter C. McCray. Dottie was a long time parishioner at the Church of St. Francis de Sales, Aston, PA, where she sang in the choir and was a church caretaker. Dottie was a member of the Aston Twp. Lioness Club, the Red Hats Society, and bowled in leagues at AMF Conchester Lanes and Sproul Lanes. Dottie enjoyed trips to the casinos and Cape May, NJ, with her friend, Anita, and lunches with the girls from Fox Hill Farms. Dottie traveled around the world with her loving husband, Harry. Dottie's life revolved around her family, and she cherished the times they shared. Known as Grammy, Dottie adored her grandchildren and was actively involved with their care. She was the daughter of the late Hugh and Dorothy Shepherd) Ciabattone; sister of the late Anthony Ciabattone (late Teresa) and the late Sr. Rita Ciabattoni, SSJ. Survivors: Devoted Husband of 48 years Harry J, Imburgia, Sr. Loving Children, Carmella M. Imburgia, Harry J. Imburgia, Jr. (Adrienne), Michael J. Imburgia, Sr. and Daniel J. Imburgia (Shylah) Loving Grandchildren, Samantha, Ryan, Michael, Jr., Raven, William, Camron, Benjamin, Giavanna, Casey and Anna Brother, Hughie Ciabattone (Pat) Also survived by Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and Friends Funeral Mass: Thursday 11:00 AM, at the Church of St. Francis de Sales, 35 New Road, Aston, PA 19014 Visitation: Wednesday 6:00 – 8:00 PM and Thursday 9:30 – 10:30 AM, at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Township, Media, PA Interment: Mt.
