Obituary of Don E. Smith

1930-2015 Don E. Smith, age 85, of the Masonic Village of Elizabethtown, PA and formerly of Aston, PA, passed away peacefully, on Monday, August 24, 2015 at home. He was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1930. Don was a Private First Class serving in the United States Marine Corps. Don was employed with the Boeing Co. as a buyer, retiring in 1990 after 39 years. He received many awards and was recognized numerous times by his peers and upper management. Mr. Smith was a 32nd degree Mason member of the Concord Masonic Lodge #625 F&AM, and a member of the Nur Temple Shrine, Wilmington, DE. He and his wife June enjoyed traveling across the country. He was an avid reader. Devoted to his wife, children and grandchildren. He loved dancing and cherished his friendships. He was the husband of the late Jeannette Barlow Austin Smith Survivors Wife of 32 years: June E. Yoder Smith Children: Gerald (Linda) and Donna (Keith) Step-Daughters: Lynne (the late Bobby), Debra (the late Dave) and Kim (Michael) Grandchildren: Kristy, Jennifer, Brian, Ashlyn, Austin, Dylan and Delaney. Great Grandchildren: Jessica, David, Camryn and Danial Funeral Service: Saturday 11:00 AM, at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rt. 352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Township, Media, PA where a masonic service will be held at 10:45AM Visitation: Saturday 9:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment: Mt.
