Obituary of Eleanor H. Hazzard

Eleanor Hendrixon Hazzard, “Hendy” age 86, of Media, PA, formerly of Wallingford, PA, passed away on her 86th birthday, Tuesday, September 29, 2015. Eleanor graduated from Upper Darby High School and attended the University of Pennsylvania. She was a manager for more than 35years with Bell Telephone, until retiring in 1984. A woman of faith, Eleanor was a devoted Christian at Calvary Chapel of Delaware County, where she was a member of the OWLS. Eleanor was an avid gardener, enjoyed reading, puzzles, building doll houses and going to Lewes, Delaware Beach. Most of all, she adored her Burmese Cats, Moko and Nila. She was the wife of 55yrs to the late John Hazzard, who died in 2004 and sister of the late Janet Elizabeth Jewitt, and Lewis Hendrixon.
