Obituary of Albert W. Bergeman

Albert W. Bergeman, "Bud" age 88, of Maris Grove, Glen Mills, PA, formerly a 56 year resident of Brookhaven, PA, died Sunday, April 24, 2016. Bud was born January 29, 1928, in Darby, PA, to the late Richard C. and Freda Walther Bergeman. He was a 1946 graduate of Darby High School. After high school, Bud served in the US Army, serving in the 1st Calvary from 1946-1948 and was honorably discharged. Bud graduated with a degree in Business Management in 1952, from Temple University and received his Master's Degree in 1975, from Dartmouth College. Mr. Bergeman was a credit manager with Scott Paper for more than 20 years, retiring in 1990. Bud was an active member of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church, where he taught Sunday School, served on the administrative board and was an usher for church services. Bud was an avid Phillies fan, making it to spring training every year, as well as rooting for the other Philadelphia sports teams. He enjoyed his family and following his sons' sports careers. Also, one of his many pleasures were vacation trips by trailer and the good times at campgrounds. Survivors: Loving Wife of 64 years: Sallylou Smith Bergeman Sons: Albert L.
