Obituary of James H. Robison

James H. Robison, age 88 years , of Middletown Twp., Media, PA died on Saturday May 21, 2016 at Broomall Manor. Born in Ridley Park, PA., Jim had also lived in Parkside before moving to Middletown Twp. Jim was a veteran of the US Army, having served in the 2nd Infantry. After the Army, Jim attended and graduated from PMC, now Widener University. He had been employed by Ford Motor Co., in Chester, PA and later by Sun Oil Co., as an accountant until his retirement in 1986. After his retirement from Sun Oil, Mr. Robison became a Court Officer for the late Hon. Judge Wright. Mr. Robison had been active in fire service, having been a member of Parkside Fire Co., and the former Lima Fire Co. He is a life member of the Middletown Fire Co., where he was the long-time treasurer and a member of the Fire Police where he served as a Captain. Active in Middletown Twp., Mr. Robison was a Judge of Elections, a Committee Person and a member of the Cable Committee. He was a member of the former 2nd Presbyterian Church of Chester. Husband of the late Helen S. Robison, who died in 1990, he is survived by his beloved wife Regina Conway Robison; a son James J.(Robin) Robison, a daughter Dr. Janet M. Robison (Bill); also survived by Larry, David(Tina), Judy and Elaine Hill and 10 grandchildren. Funeral Services on Wednesday 11:00AM from the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte#352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media,PA, where friends may call after 10:00AM.
