Obituary of Rocco W. DiCarlantonio
Rocco Walter DiCarlantonio, age 74, of Upper Chichester, PA, formerly of Brookhaven and Aston, PA, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, February 1, 2025.
Born and raised in Chester, PA, Rocco graduated from Chester High School in 1969. While growing up in Chester, Rocco was a talented baseball player and enjoyed playing with his friends even into his teenage years.
He was a proud U.S. Airforce Veteran. Rocco spent his career as a welder, working for BP Oil for more than 25 years.
Woodworking wasn't just a hobby for Rocco—it was his sanctuary, where he could lose himself for hours and forget the world outside. Rocco had a great love for all sports, but especially his San Francisco 49ers. Spending the evening dancing with his wife, Anita, was always a favorite for both of them after an amazing homecooked meal, made by Rocco himself. An afternoon at the casinos was a favorite pastime of Rocco and Anita's together.
Rocco was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Victor DiCarlantonio and Elma May Kilgore. He is also predeceased by his loving wife of 46 years, Anita Putiri DiCarlantonio.

Stepdaughters: Kimberly McGinley (James) and Jennifer Strohm (Edward)
