Obituary of John F. Imburgia

John F. Imburgia, age 91, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Marcus Hook, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2025. John was born in Chester, PA, to the late Blanche and Charles Imburgia.

John was a proud graduate of St. James High School, Class of 1952. He spent his career with Boeing/Vertol as a helicopter mechanic, Atlantic Aviation as an Aircraft Coordinator, Controller and Special Projects Manager for 34 years, until retiring in 1994.

John was a parishioner of The Church of St. Maximillian Kolbe, West Chester, PA. He was a member of the Chester County and Delaware Astronomical Societies.

John was a devoted husband and father to his family and enjoyed camping, fishing and beach vacations with his family and many friends.

Wife of 67 years: Carole (Gaehring) Imburgia

Sister: Charmaine Imburgia

Sons: Daniel (Holly) Brian (Melissa Smith)

Daughter: Eileen (Harvey)

Granddaughters: Katherine, Jocelyn (Anthony), Caroline, Jaime and Shelby

Nieces: Lorraine and Robin

Visitation: Tuesday, March 11^th after 11:00AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service:  Tuesday, March 11^th at 12noon at the funeral home.

Interment will be private.
