Obituary of John C. Munch
John C. Munch, “Uncle John," age 87, of Brookhaven, PA, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, died at his niece, Cyndi Sickler and family’s home on Thursday, March 6, 2025.
Uncle John was born on October 22, 1937 and was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Navy.
John retired in 1999 from Kimberly Clark.
Uncle John enjoyed going to yard sales and was a collector of records and sports memorabilia. He was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan. John loved watching horror and western movies with Sean and Ryan in his basement. He loved vacationing with family in Wildwood, NJ, and loved sharing his memories of going to Coney Island. John loved a good extra cheese pizza. He looked forward to meeting his buddies at Booths Corner Farmer’s Market every Friday morning. John will be dearly missed.
Husband of the beloved wife of more than 50 years, the late Joan Scott Munch; Son of the late Helen Munch.
Survivors:
Niece, but was more like a daughter: Cyndi (Craig) Sickler, of Spring City, PA.
Nephew: Charles M. (Pamela) Wood of Cochranville, PA.
Great-nephews: Sean and Ryan Sickler
Beloved Sisters-in-law: Patricia Wood and Margaret Scott, both of Millsboro, DE
Niece: Donna (Joe) Haney of Upland, PA
Dear friend and neighbor: Christine Zyla
