Obituary of James J. Manzi

James J. Manzi, age 78, of Wallingford, PA, formerly of Ridley Park, PA, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, March 22, 2025.

Jim was a 1964 graduate of St. James High School. He was a custodian for 30 years with PECO Energy Company, until retiring.

In his free time, Jim loved listening to talk radio and enjoyed following all of the Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Phillies. In his younger days, Jim was an avid bowler and liked being a part of different leagues in Delaware County. Family was important to Jim and he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He particularly loved being down the shore with family during the summer months. Jim was most certainly considered to be the jokester of the family. He loved life and found great joy in making people laugh with his quick witted one-liners.

Jim was the son of the late Rocco and Mary Manzi. He was a loving husband of 29 years to the late Marsha Lynn Manzi.

Jim is survived by his daughter, Lisa Marie (Steve) Hann Son, James Rocco (Jennifer) Manzi, Sr. Brothers: John (Linda) and Robert (Shirley) Manzi Sister: Maria (Ed) Kuszmaul Grandchildren: Kristina, Samantha, Stephen, Grace, James, Jr.

Visitation: Tuesday, April 1st, 10:00AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063. Family Sharing to follow the visitation at 11:00AM Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
