Obituary of Thomas J. Neill, Jr.

Thomas J. Neill, Jr., age 73, of Media, PA, formerly of Drexel Hill, PA, died at home with his wife by his side on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.

Tom was born on January 1, 1952 in Philadelphia, PA.  He was a graduate of Upper Darby High School.

Tom was employed as a mechanic at Niemeyer Lawn and Garden. He was a service technician with Sears and then worked in appliance repair at John’s Maytag in Claymont, DE.

Tommy enjoyed fishing and boating at Fortescue, NJ.  He loved hitting the greens at Eagles Mere Country Club in Sullivan County, PA.  Tom was a valued and respected member of Delaware County Field and Stream, Middletown Twp., Media, PA.

Tommy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He lived a life of kindness, generosity and joy. He will be remembered as a true friend and mentor, sharing his knowledge and wisdom along the way.

Son of the late Thomas and Althea Neill, Brother of the late Kathleen Cavanagh and George Neill.

Survivors:

Devoted Wife: Audrey Neill

Twin Brother: John (Debbie) Neill

Sisters: Barbara Miller and Bea (Jerry) Amison

Beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cherished friends and his Delaware County Field and Stream “Family”

Visitation: Thursday, April 3rd from 3:00-4:45pm at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) and Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA, 19063.

Funeral Service: Thursday April 3rd at 5:00pm at the funeral home. 

Interment: Private.
