I am so sorry. I just found out of her passing. I remember Marion as always a positive person. She had such joy and enthusiasm for the BABES program at Holcomb, and I accompanied her on several trips to local elementary schools. Marion made it fun and enjoyable for the students.

Marion was my oldest and dearest friend. We met Freshman year of college and she and Bob have been like family ever since sharing vacations, talking on the phone and finding unneeded, but fun items to share at Christmas.

My Bob and I, being away due to military service, didn’t keep us apart as they managed to visit us in various places in the world.

The Shufelts were both always warm and welcoming and ready to pitch in and help whenever there was a need. They even shared their home with our daughter during some of her PT training. We’ve had such good and memorable times together.

My Bob and I will miss Marion dearly, but know that she was a strong believer and if there truly is a heaven as we believe, God will welcome her there.

It isn’t feasible for us to come to the visitation or funeral but be assured we will be there in spirit and prayer.
