Obituary of Raymond David Fox

Raymond David Fox, age 83, of Middletown Twp., Media, PA, died on Friday, June 13, 2025.

Ray was a graduate of Penncrest High School, Class of 1960.  He worked with the Electrical Union Local IBEW #98 for 33 years, retiring in 2004.

Ray was a loyal Veteran of the Air National Guard for 14 years, from 1967-1981.  He was a member of the VFW, Media, Post #3460, and the American Legion, Boothwyn, Post #951.

Ray loved to travel and taking cruises and exploring new places by sea. He especially enjoyed the beauty surrounding his mountain house as well as feeding the little critters he came across along the way. He was an avid outdoorsman and found joy in both hunting and fishing.  Ray’s greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Son of the late Raymond A. and Dorothy (Brown) Fox.

Wife of 53 years: Linda (Campbell) Fox

Sons: Gregory (Ann Marie) Thomas, Eric (Robyn) Fox, Raymond D. (Michelle) Fox, II

Grandchildren: Michael (Lexi), Jessica (Sam), Christopher, Shannon Kathleen (Erin), Raymond A., Aiden, Christian and Ava.

Sister: Sharon Downing

Great-Grandchildren: Noah and Winter Rose.

Also survived by nieces, nephews and inlaws.

Visitation: Friday, June 20th from 12:00-12:45PM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Friday, June 20th at 1:00PM at the funeral home.

Interment: Private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Media VFW Post 3460, 11 Hilltop Rd., Media, PA 19063.
