I will always remember the great times we had driving up to the mountains, listening to Neil Young songs playing on the portable 8 track on the back seat. Many others also but “Everyone Knows This is Nowhere” , “Cinnamon Girl”, just to name a few. Then the time that we got to the cabin and said before we do anything we’re going to “put our hiney in the piney “ and when we came back and went upstairs in cabin to get dried off and changed, there were M&M’s all over your sleeping bag! What’s this, I asked. The look on your face was priceless!! lol, you got caught cheating on your diet, LOL.
Oh, I miss you Louise. There is a saying that grief is the cost for love. I’ll be grieving for a very long time. I’m especially sorry that we didn’t get back up to the cabin this year like we talked about. I will take you up in spirit and hopefully be able to spread some of your ashes where we spread Dennys. Together Forever! I hope you meet up with Mom and Dad as well and give them a hug for me.
