Angeline Frisco

Obituary of Angeline Marie Frisco

Angeline “Angie” Marie (Lavella) Frisco, age 78, of Brookhaven, PA, formerly of Chester, PA, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025. Daughter of the late Guido and Juanita (Boyles) Lavella. Married to the love of her life, Michael, for forty-eight (48) wonderful years.

Angie was a student at St. Anthony of Padua Grade School (Chester), Notre Dame High School (Moylan-Rose Valley), and Delaware County Community College (Media). During childhood, Angie worked hard with other family members at their “Night Owls” (Lavella Bros) Wholesale (and retail) Fruit and Produce stores. During her early professional career, Angie was employed as a Kindergarten teacher with the City of Chester School District, where she adored teaching young children. Angie also served as a Social Worker with Delaware County Children and Youth Services, where she assisted children and families in need in Chester, Upper Darby, and other local communities.

While a devoted parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Church (Chester) from childhood until its closing, Angie was active with the St. Gabriel Society, the Legion of Mary, and the annual Spaghetti Dinner planning committee. In her later years, Angie was a parishioner of The Church of St. Rose of Lima (Eddystone).

Angie was deeply devoted to her entire family, especially her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews - for whom she always took great pride in attending their Holy Sacraments, activities, sports games, and other special events. Nothing made Angie happier than cheering them on and supporting them in every way she could. Angie loved to reminisce about cherished family memories and found tremendous joy in cooking and baking—especially her famous pizzelle, which were a family favorite. Angie enjoyed relaxing with an occasional Hallmark movie or game show. Nothing brought Angie more joy than spending time and sharing dinner together with loved ones. Her warmth, kindness and presence will be deeply missed.
