Memorial Service
Condolences
I’ve known Al as a colleague and friend for more than three decades, including through many shared skiing and sailing adventures. In all these settings he carried himself with confidence, impeccable judgment and a wry sense of humor especially noticeable when it was most needed. I remember Al calmly waking me up during one sailing trip with, Glenn I think there’s something you should see. He proceeded to show me the main cabin with three inches of standing water plus a couple of inches more under the floorboards. While we were furiously pumping water, he suggested how we could find a nearby marina that had a travel lift and could repair the leak. Whether in his business or personal life, Al was the consummate gentleman and team player—someone you were always glad to have around. Al, you are missed. Rest in peace.
My condolences to Mary Jo, and Al's extended Family; Al was a true friend, a golfing buddy, and fraternity brother. On one of our drives from Goodyear, AZ to Saddlebrook, AZ. Al and I had discussion about our after-life which I enjoyed and learned that Al was a devoted Christian and a Man of Faith.
May he rest in peace; God Bless Albert "Drew" Griffith, Jr.
Faternally,
Vince Stanec
