Obituary of Barbara Ann McClernan

Barbara Ann (Meli) McClernan, “Barb,” age 83, a lifetime resident of Upland, PA, died suddenly on Monday, September 29, 2025 at her home.

Barb attended Notre Dame High School in Moylan, PA. In her younger years, she worked for a printing company then later went on to housekeeping with a friend. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was a faithful member of Hope Presbyterian Church.

Barb enjoyed watching her tv shows. Some of her favorites were Americas Got Talent, various game shows and the evening news.

Daughter of the late Angelo and Margaret (Barlow) Meli, Mother of the late Margaret Marie McClernan, Grandmother of the late W. Edmund Jackson Jr., Sister of the late Margaret Nevin, Nancy Souders, Louis Meli, Albert Meli, and James Meli.

Survivors:

Daughters: Jacqueline Seaman and Jeanette McClernan

Brothers: Joseph Meli and Robert (Joyce) Meli

She is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on October 11th, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Hope Presbyterian Church, 601 S. New Middletown Rd., Media, PA 19063.

Interment will be private.
