Obituary of Miriam P. Coyle

Miriam P.  (Sheerin) Coyle, age 91, of Plush Mills, Wallingford, PA, died at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

Miriam enjoyed knitting and crossword puzzles. She truly enjoyed being part of her community and cherished spending time with friends, especially while playing BINGO and during happy hour, where her laughter and warmth were always present. She loved spending time at Ocean City, NJ and Bethany Beach, DE, where she enjoyed the sunshine, ocean air and moments of relaxation.

Miriam found her greatest happiness in her family. Nothing brought her more joy than enjoying time with her grandchildren and treating them to her famous grilled cheese sandwiches.

Daughter of the late Eugene and Martha (Cary) Sheerin; Wife of the late William J. Coyle, Sr. Mother of the late William J. Coyle, Jr. and Kevin E. Coyle; Sister of the late Regina Lunger.

Survivors:

Daughters: Kathleen (Dave Baughman) Coyle, Mary Pat (Eric) Hartline, Elizabeth Coyle.

Sons: Michael (Laura Enkoji) and Brian (Jee) Coyle

Daughter-in-law: Ellen Coyle

Grandchildren: Bill (Sarah) Peter (Allison) Quinn, Maya, Jake, Owen, Matthew, Mary Kate, Miles, Ty

Also survived by many nieces and nephews

Visitation: Saturday, January 24th after 10:00AM at the Church of St. Kevin, 200 W. Sproul Rd., Springfield, PA 19064.

Funeral Mass: Saturday, January 24th at 11:00AM at the Church.

Interment to be held at a future date.
