Linda and I were childhood friends. Many wonderful memories swimming in the backyard pool and eating fried eggplant in our bathing suits that Mrs. Wooley so graciously would make. I was also fortunate enough to go with them on several summer vacations to Ocean City, New Jersey. Again, to eat more eggplant and ice cream cones. We had so much fun in our neighborhood and neighborhood friends. We didn't really keep in touch over the years, but the memories are forever.

My sincere condolences to the family. Linda was such a wonderful woman and her positivity and her recovery were amazing. Linda was more than just a friend, she was my best friend she will be greatly missed.

My condolences to her family and loved ones. Linda was such a beautiful woman inside and out. She helped so many women with their recovery. We shared a lot of similarities and I trusted to tell her anything. She felt the same way. A morning didn’t go bye where we didn’t say good morning to each other. When she got sick I talked to her even more whether it was on the phone or at her apartment, she was only four minutes away. We would always share our deepest thoughts with each other over coffee. Even through her illness she had such a strong faith in God and never complained. She liked to laugh actually!

She gave me her motorcycle helmet and leather jacket knowing she’d never ride again. Last time I saw her she was on her way to the hospital not thinking I’d never see her again. I will miss her with all my heart but knowing that she’s out of pain, no more suffering and with God I can only think of her and smile. I love you Linda Scarpitti!
