Obituary of Donald F. Storey

Donald Frank Storey “Don”, age 97, of Media, PA, formerly of Reading, PA, died on Monday, January 26, 2026 at Riddle Hospital. Born on April 27, 1928, Don graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from West Chester University, and a Master’s Degree from Temple University with an additional 30 credits. Don was a Physical Education Teacher and Athletic Director at Interboro High School. He coached basketball, football and track. He also was a Driver’s Education Teacher.

Don was a Veteran of the  United States Marine Corp.

Mr. Storey was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church and the William Rush Woodcarvers Club.

 Don enjoyed traveling, bird watching, bird carving, reading, sports and spending time with family.

Son of the late Angela Storey and Frank Storey; Brother of the late Patricia Haines.

Visitation: Saturday, January 31st, after 10:00AM at Reformation Lutheran Church, 102 W. Rose Tree Rd., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service with Military Honors: Saturday, January 31st at 11:00AM at the church.

Interment will be private.
