Obituary of Elizabeth Feeser Jones

Elizabeth Feeser Jones “Betty,” age 91, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and a lifelong resident of Delaware County, PA, died on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at her Granite Farms Estates residence, where she had lived since 2005. Betty graduated from Nether Providence High School in 1952 and also earned a business degree from Goldey Beacom College. She worked for Wilmington Trust and then as a medical secretary for two physicians in Media, PA.

Betty was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Chester, PA. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Robert G. Jones (Bob) and her parents, George Milton Feeser, Jr. and Dorothy Evans Feeser. Betty enjoyed travel, summers in Ocean City, NJ, volunteering at Riddle Hospital Thrift Shop, and especially time with her family.

She is survived by son, Robert Barry (Sarah) Jones, daughter, Gail (Frank) Trofa, grandchildren Frank (Maggie) Trofa, Danielle (Matt) Feely and Erica (Chris) Murphy; and great-grandchildren Ella, Maeve, Bodie, Tate, Ford, Francesca.

Visitation: Friday, February 20th after 10:30AM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 301 E. 9th Street, Chester, PA 19013.

Funeral Mass: Friday, February 20th at 11:00AM at the church.

Interment: Cumberland Cemetery.
