Obituary of Cynthia Crew

Cynthia Mercedes Crew, age 70, died on Monday, February 16, 2026 at Jefferson Einstein Montgomery County Hospital. Cynthia was born in Philadelphia, PA.

Cynthia enjoyed her life. She knew what she wanted and if she did not like it, she had no problem telling you, “No” or “Not Now”.  Cynthia was happy living her life as she chose. She was a loving soul who enjoyed the company of others. She was affectionate and showed concerns when she observed something was wrong with anyone she was close to. She showed concern by asking “you okay”.  She did not know the names of all her staff. However, she knew their voices and special names staff had for her. She will respond quickly when she recognized their voices.

Cynthia enjoyed sitting in her chair socializing with her housemates and staff. She enjoyed R&B music, she enjoyed singing and rocking side to side when she was singing. She knew a lot of popular songs. Cynthia enjoyed cheese cake and Pepsi. She occasionally asked for “Whiki” her way of saying whisky. She never had whisky, but when she was asked what she wanted to drink she would say “Whiki”

Visitation: Thursday, February 26th after 10:00AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Thursday, February 26th at 11:00AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Media Cemetery.
