Obituary of Paul J. Gillespie, Sr.

Paul J. Gillespie, Sr., age 85, of Wallingford, PA, died at home on Friday, February 27, 2026.

Paul was a graduate of Nether Providence High School. He was a machinist with Langston Corporation in Cherry Hill, NJ.  In his recent years, he was a bus driver with the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District.

He was a devoted Veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Paul was deeply devoted to his family, finding his greatest joy in cookouts, sharing laughter, and spending cherished time with his beloved grandchildren.

Son of the late John and Ann (Glynn) Gillespie; Husband of the late Gail L. (Wilson) Gillespie; and predeceased by a brother and a sister.

Survivors:

Sons: Mark Gillespie, Steven Gillespie, Paul Gillespie, Jr.

Grandchildren: Steven Jr., John, Darien, Kate, Alexander

Great-Grandchildren: Layla, Steven, Blake, Jackson, Charlotte

Visitation: Tuesday, March 10^th after 11:00AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Family Sharing: Tuesday, March 10th at 12noon at the funeral home.

Interment with Military Honors: Chester Rural Cemetery.
