Obituary of Anita L. Coward

Anita (Letherbury) Coward, age 90, of Middletown Twp., Media, PA, died at home on Friday, March 13, 2026. Anita was a graduate of Media High School.  She was a lifetime member of Lima United Methodist Church. Anita was deeply devoted to her church family, cherishing the faith, fellowship, and friendships she found within her church community. She was a volunteer at Middletown Free Library, where she received the Lifetime Achievement Award.

She enjoyed sewing and reading. Anita loved to bake and cook, finding happiness in creating delicious meals and sharing with her family. Anita took great pride in her flower and vegetable garden, finding joy in nurturing and watching it flourish throughout the seasons. Most of all, she cherished caring for her family and her home.

Daughter of the late Charles A. and Lodema I. (Day) Letherbury; Wife of the late Charles Coward, Jr.

Son: Alan (Kathy) Coward

Grandchildren: Erin (Mike) Bressler, Rachel (Joe) Kelly, Brent Coward, Lindsay Miller

Great-Grandchildren: Alex Tolvaisa, James Kelly and Benjamin Kelly

Sister: Doris Letherbury Goldsworthy

Visitation: Thursday, March 19^th after 10:00AM at Lima United Methodist Church, 209 N.  Middletown Rd., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Thursday, March 19^th at 11:00AM at Lima United Methodist Church.

Interment: Edgewood Memorial Park.
