Obituary of Christine H. Cavalier

Christine (Hunter) Cavalier, age 77, of Aston, PA, died on Thursday, March 19, 2026. Chris was a 1966 graduate of Cardinal O’Hara High School. She held various managerial positions with Amtrak for more than 30 years, retiring in 2011. Chris was a parishioner of the Church of St. Francis de Sales, Lenni, PA.

Chris, an avid reader who cherished a good book, found immense joy in cooking, planting flowers and herbs in her garden, and spending time with her eight adored grandchildren. She especially looked forward to her trips to Surfside Beach, South Carolina, where she found relaxation, happiness, and cherished moments by the ocean.

Daughter of the late Robert J. and Norma (Wachter) Hunter; Sister of the late Robin Hunter.

Husband of 56 years: Steven M. Cavalier

Children: Jennifer, Rebecca (Matt), Stephen (Gabrielle), Stephanie (Eric)

Loving Grandchildren: Brynn, Blake, Phoenix, Fiona, Cameron, Carsen, Cooper, Collins

Sisters: Gloria (Walter) Altman, Patricia (Christopher) Weisel, Noni (Brian) Annucci

Visitation: Wednesday, March 25th after 10:00AM at St. Francis de Sales Church, 35 New Rd., Lenni, PA 19052, followed by Mass at 11:00AM.

Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
