Obituary of Dibbie DeColli
Dibbie (Waldick) DeColli, age 59, a resident of Wallingford, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, surrounded by her family. Dibbie was born on January 19, 1967, and was the daughter of the late Anna Kathleen Scott and Edmund A. Waldick, and stepdaughter of the late Richard D. Scott. Dibbie was a 1985 graduate of Strath Haven High School and earned an Associates Degree in Business Administration at Delaware County Community College. Dibbie was a parishioner of St. John Chrysostom Church in Wallingford, PA.
Dibbie spent a short time early in her career working for Harrah's Casino and then spent the rest of her career working in the mortgage industry holding various positions with various companies that include Meritor Financial Group/PSFS, PHH US Mortgage Corporation and Radian Guaranty Incorporated.
Dibbie married her husband Victor, who was the love of her life, who she met while working at Radian Guaranty Incorporated in May 2000. Dibbie and Victor lived in Aston, PA. for the first eight years of their marriage and then moved to Wallingford, PA, where Dibbie was born and raised, for their remaining sixteen years together. Dibbie had infinite devotion towards her daughter and son who she loved unconditionally and supported them with eternal passion and care. Dibbie possessed great pride in her children Kiera and Andrew; and loved celebrating their successes, achievements and accomplishments with love, joy and passion.
Dibbie loved reading and greatly enjoyed baking, cooking, planting flowers in her gardens around her house and bird watching with her husband Victor at the back of their house. Dibbie loved interior decorating and relished decorating her house during all holidays. Dibbie enjoyed driving her cars and taking trips with family and friends. Dibbie loved being outdoors and enjoyed various types of shopping. Dibbie was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and cheered her teams with enthusiasm.
Dibbie had a great love for animals and owned cats and dogs throughout her life. Dibbie held a special place in her heart for her dog Raggy that she had for eighteen years earlier in her life and for Daisy who she had for the past sixteen years whose love and companionship gave her eternal comfort and joy.
Dibbie was a dedicated, loyal, and faithful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Dibbie always served her family's interests first and always found happiness in the moments with her family, whether it was enjoying a cozy moment at home or taking her vacations during her life with family or friends. Dibbie was a traveler and enjoyed her many trips and vacations in and out of the country. Her favorite trip was her trip to Ireland in 1999. Other favorite vacation spots that Dibbie enjoyed include her many trips to the Caribbean and her many trips during her entire life to the New Jersey shore. Dibbie relished her vacations at the New Jersey shore whether it was at the family house in Ocean City, or at Sea Isle City or Brigantine with her friends.
Dibbie lived a life full of love, kindness, dedication and a tremendous love for her family and friends. Dibbie built lasting and enduring relationships during the course of her entire life and touched the lives of everyone in her life by her love, warmth, generosity, optimism and extraordinary sense of humor. Dibbie had a wonderful gift of making everyone around her feel special.
Dibbie treasured going out with her friends for breakfast, lunch or dinner while sharing lifelong stories with each other and reminiscing about the wonderful times and beautiful memories and experiences they shared with each other and other friends. All events with family and friends were always filled with love, laughter, great food and drinks, and memories that will live in the hearts of everyone who shared them with Dibbie.
Dibbie cherished every single moment of her life. Dibbie was always positive and optimistic despite any circumstance, and she was always confident that things would work out, and they always did. Dibbie also relished her friendships she made with lifelong friends. She loved adventures and truly lived life to the fullest, being positive, optimistic and having no regrets.
