Obituary of Michael E. O'Donnell

Michael E. O’Donnell, age 62, of Media, PA, died suddenly at home on Thursday, March 19, 2026 from complications related to chronic health conditions. Mike was a graduate of Penncrest High School, Class of 1982.  Mike was employed with Diamond Drilling Company, Broomall, PA, and Maguire Products Inc., Aston, PA.

Mike had a deep love for the outdoors, finding joy in hiking, fishing, and tending to his tomato garden, where he found peace and fulfillment. He was a talented photographer who captured life’s beautiful moments, and enjoyed working in the yard and helping his neighbors. He cherished decorating for the holidays and spending time with those he loved. Mike was a proud Philadelphia Eagles and Flyers fan. 

Son of the late Laura (DiFonzo) O’Donnell; Brother-in-law of the late Charles Myers.

Father: Joseph O’Donnell

Children: Kristin (Paul) Koterba, Jessica (Matt) Sondermann and Kevin O’Donnell

Partner of 20 years: Cindy Frawley and her children, Shannon and Ryan

Brother: Brian (Theresa) O’Donnell

Sisters: Kathi (Bill) Fawley and Sharon Myers

Also survived by his 7 adoring grandchildren and 10 nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Monday, March 30th after 10:00AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Monday, March 30th at 11:00AM at the funeral home.

Interment will be private.
