May 16,1942 - March 18, 2026

Lawrence J. Bush, "Larry", age 83, of Aston, PA died peacefully at home on March 18, 2026 surrounded by family.  Son of the late Michael A. and Alberta "Bessie"(Turturici) Bush, Larry is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Elizabeth (Mullen) Bush.

Larry was a graduate of St. James High School and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Neumann University, Aston PA. Larry was also a proud U.S. Navy veteran. He retired from his career in Operations at Sun Refining.

Larry is survived by his daughter Lisa Marie (Andreas) Sylvester and his son Michael Anthony (Mary) Bush, Grandchildren: Angela M. (Mario) D'Amato and Thomas F. Bush

Great Grandchildren: Johnny Cade and June Evelyn D' Amato

Daughter-in-law: Joyce Lynn Bush

He is survived by his 3 brothers: Michael Edward (and the late Sue) Bush of Bloomington IN, Joseph Anthony Bush of Arlington VA, and Peter Michael (Judy) Bush of Lancaster PA.

He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Larry found happiness is traveling the globe with his wife by his side and enjoyed cruising, playing tennis, skiing and scuba diving. He was at his best with his feet in the sand at his favorite beach in Delaware or Turks and Caicos. He was also a fan of the arts and an avid reader and enjoyed sharing this passion with his grandson, Thomas.

Larry will be remembered for the warmth he shared with those around him. 

As a dedicated supporter of Life Science Education, Larry requested his body be donated to the Gift of Life Program and his donation was accepted at the University of PENN School of Medicine.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday April 8th at 10:00 am at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media PA 19063

A Celebration of Life with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
