Obituary of Robert L. Schuler

Robert L. Schuler, age 95, Aston, PA, formerly of Chester, PA, died on Sunday, April 12, 2026.  Bob was a graduate of Ridley High School, where he was active in baseball and football.  

Bob was a U.S. Marine Veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict. He concluded his military career as a drill sergeant at Parris Island,

Bob lived a life defined by dedication, hard work, and quiet strength. He began his long career with Bell Telephone as a lineman, spending his early years ensuring that people stayed connected, no matter the weather or the challenge. Over time, through perseverance and a deep commitment to his work, he transitioned into the role of office manager, where he became a respected leader, until his retirement.

Bob volunteered with City Team Ministry, helping build and raising money for the site in Chester, PA.

He was an avid bowler who enjoyed the camaraderie and competition of leagues.   He spent many relaxing days on the golf course and played in many tournaments. Bob was deeply devoted to his loving family, always placing their happiness and well-being at the center of his life.

Husband of the late Betty Zane (Wroten) Schuler; Father of the late Kurt L. Schuler, Sr., and Erica Lynn Schuler; Father-in- law of the late Nevada P. Schuler.
