Obituary of Lorraine M. Hackett
Lorraine M. Hackett, 68, of Bonita Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully at her residence on April 17, 2026.
Born on November 3, 1957, in Darby, Pennsylvania, Lorraine was the beloved daughter of the late Raymond and Catherine (née McColgan) Rodier. She was raised in Pennsylvania and spent much of her life in Wallingford, including Springhaven Country Club, before later making her home in Bonita Springs.
Lorraine devoted the majority of her professional life to working as a legal secretary and office manager in law offices in Pennsylvania, including that of her husband Leo A. Hackett, where she was known for her dedication, professionalism, and warm personality. After relocating to Florida, she enjoyed her time as a member of Worthington Country Club, where she formed many cherished friendships.
She is survived by her loving husband, Leo A. Hackett of Bonita Springs, FL; her step-sons, David L. Hackett (Susan) of Wallingford, PA and Daniel T. Hackett of Virginia Beach, VA; and her step-daughter, Janine Hackett (Robin Bergen) of Potomac, MD. Lorraine was a proud grandmother to Wyeth Hackett, Charlotte Hackett, Alex Bergen, and Thomas Bergen.
Lorraine is also survived by her eight siblings: Patricia (Francis) Keeney of Cape May, NJ; Donna Schroeder of Wallingford, PA; Jean (Thomas) Wiggins of Myrtle Beach, SC; Joan (Robert) Anderson of Aston, PA; Catherine (Robert) Jenkins of Garnet Valley, PA; Deborah Tobey of Prospect Park, PA; Raymond (Carol) Rodier of West Chester, PA; and Dianne (Jim) Reid of Ridley Township, PA. She leaves behind 26 nieces and nephews, as well as her two Godchildren, Danielle Soyka of Philadelphia, PA and Joey Bradley of Media, PA.
In addition to her parents, Lorraine was predeceased by her siblings, Mary Theresa Rodier, Marianne Rodier, and Joseph Rodier.
Visitation: Wednesday, May 6th from 9:30-10:15AM at The Church of St. John Chrysostom, 617 S. Providence Rd., Wallingford, PA 19086.
Funeral Mass: Wednesday, May 6th at 10:30AM at The Church of St. John Chysostom.
Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
