Obituary of Ethel Ada Jaworsky

Ethel Ada Jaworsky ,  “Sesel”  age 72,  a lifetime resident of Upland, PA, died suddenly on Monday, April 27, 2026.  Ethel was a graduate of Collingdale High School.   Ethel was employed with the Delaware County Courthouse for more than 34 years, retiring in 2022.

Ethel was a member of Upland Baptist Church.  She will be remembered as a woman of warmth, creativity, and quiet joy. Sesel was musically gifted, finding great happiness in playing both the guitar and piano. Music was a constant in her life, and she loved spending time reading about her favorite musicians, always eager to learn more about the art she cherished.

In her quieter moments, Ethel enjoyed crocheting, working crossword puzzles, and embracing the simple pleasures that brought her peace. She found special joy on trips to Slaughter Beach, Delaware. She was also a Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Phillies and Eagles.

Ethel also held a special place in her heart for the Upland Diner, where she was a familiar and beloved face. Over time, the staff there became like family, sharing laughter, conversation, and countless cherished memories. Most of all, Ethel’s greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Daughter of the late Daniel and Ruthann (Clampitt) Jaworsky.

Survivors:

Brother: Daniel (Kelly) Jaworsky, Jr., of North Carolina

Sister: Eva R. Jaworsky of Upland, PA.

Nieces and Nephews:  Daniel III, Heather, Regina and Anthony

Great-Nieces and Nephews: Seth, Anthony, Milania and Julietta

Also survived by cousins.

Visitation: Friday, May 8^th after 11:00AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service:  Friday, May 8^th at 12noon at the funeral home.
