Condolences
I was in Johns classes at St Michaels school. He was smartest kid in the class. He could do complicated math in his head without paper. Always smiling too.

Me and John are first cousins and grew up together. During an extremely difficult time for me and my family, I went into a "shell" and wasn't interested in anything and didn't talk much. He helped and taught me about sports and music, among other things. He made my childhood seem normal again. I was only 8yrs old at the time and he was 9yrs old. This was just the beginning of the man he grew up to be. Thank you John, I love you. God Bless you John, Dawn and family.
My memories of John are from the neighborhood where we grew up. I'm sorry to hear of John's passing and my sympathies go out to his family.
My sincere condolences to John’s family. I had the pleasure of working with John for many years at Congoleum. He was a guy that you could always count on to get things done and I always felt that we had a lot of fun doing it.
John and I grew up in the same neighborhood 15th and Shaw Terrace we played the fields behind the houses played Little League baseball together and our journeys took us on to our wives known each other. And sisters and brothers doing things together and the whole family. Yes Dawn memories will last forever.
I worked with John at Congoleum. As, Frank Dolski stated in his posting everyone knew John as Tat, but when we John, Jr was brought on we called John, Tat Sr. John was a dedicated employee, mentor to some, cared about his employees and the quality of work his department produced. John was a dedicated family member from my prospective, getting his two sons, (John, Jr and Joe) a job at Congoleum. I won't forget John and the relationship we had.

I knew John for a very long time during my tenure at Congoleum in Marcus Hook. He cared about his job and coworkers and always gave it his best! I value the opportunity that I had to work with John aka “TAT”. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family as this most difficult time.
He was my boss on and off again for 33 years. Through the years we bumped heads like all people do a couple times and always worked out our issues. Always fair and respectful. I will miss him and our many conversations. He was and is one the strongest men I’ve had the privilege to have known. God bless and rest easy my friend.
On behalf of the St. James Catholic School Alumni Association and his 1975 classmates, I extend our deepest sympathies and prayers on your loss. On April 18, 2027, the Alumni Association will remember John at their annual Memorial Mass at St. Madeline's Church in Ridley Park. May he rest in peace!
