Obituary of William M. Davis

William Michael Davis, “Bill” age 78, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Eddystone, PA, died on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Bill resided in Aston, PA, for 22 years, before moving to West Chester for the past 27 years. 

Bill graduated from Eddystone High School, Class of 1966, where he played football, basketball and especially baseball. Bill attended Mansfield University and received his Master’s Degree in Administrative Education from Villanova University in 1973.  He worked at Penn Delco School District from 1970-2003.  

Bill was devoted to his family and home, cherishing time spent with grandchildren.

Son of the late Vernon and Marguerite (O’Malley) Davis.

Survivors:

Wife of almost 55 years:  Cheryl (Hamilton) Davis

Sons:  Glenn M. (Caroline) Davis and Ben (Megan) Davis

Grandchildren:  Ryan, Andrew, Katharine, Michael, Tague, Finley, Riley and Mickey

Brother:  Vernon L. (the late Dolores) Davis

Visitation: Thursday, June 4^th from 10:30AM -12:15.  Please arrive before 12:15PM to greet the family prior to the words of remembrance, at the Church of Saint Maximilian Kolbe, 15 E. Pleasant Grove Rd. West Chester, PA 19382. 

Funeral Mass:Thursday, June 4^th at 12:30PM at the Church.

Interment: Edgewood Memorial Park.
