Obituary of Joann E. Vidro

Joann Vidro, age 68 of Upper Darby, PA, formerly of Linwood, PA, died on Sunday, May 24, 2026. Joann was born on October 6, 1957.  Joann was a bank teller, until her retirement.

Joann generously supported many charitable organizations, including CHOP, VFW, and Doctors Without Borders. Her kindness and compassion were reflected in her commitment to helping both people and animals. She cherished her beloved fur babies—Jennie, Winnie, Dot, and Susie Q. Joann also enjoyed music, thrifting, and searching for hidden treasures. She loved spending time with family and friends and sharing laughter and memories with those she loved.

Wife of the late William H. Leavitt, Daughter of the late; James E. and Dorothy E. Beaumont.

Survivors:

Daughter: Vanessa (Howard Sou) Vidro

Son: Antonio “Tony” James Vidro

Granddaughter: Ashlee Sou

Brother: James “Jim” E. Beaumont and David “Dave” Beaumont

Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins

Graveside Services: Tuesday, June 9th  at 1:30PM at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
