Obituary of Jeannine W. Bobkowicz

Jeannine (Wood) Bobkowicz, 82, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026, at Plush Mills Senior Living in Wallingford, Pennsylvania.

Jeannine lived a life centered on kindness, generosity, and caring for others. She spent much of her life helping relatives, friends, neighbors, and anyone in need, always offering a listening ear, a helping hand, and a welcoming heart. Her family and friends will remember her as someone whose compassion quietly touched countless lives.

She found great joy in spending time outdoors and camping with loved ones at Ricketts Glen State Park, where many treasured memories were made over the years. One of Jeannine’s most beloved traditions was hosting her annual Christmas caroling gatherings, bringing together family and friends to visit local nursing and retirement homes to share music, fellowship, and holiday cheer with residents. Her faith and caring spirit shined brightly through these acts of kindness.

Jeannine was married to Theodore N. Wood Jr. in 1963 and was widowed in 1991. In 2008, she married Andrew Bobkowicz, with whom she shared companionship and love in her later years. She was widowed in 2019.

She was a devoted mother to her three children: Gwyn Alexander (Tom), Samantha Mancini (Mike), and Todd Wood (Sandy) and her five grandchildren. Her love for her family was unwavering, and the memories she created with them will be cherished always.

Jeannine’s warmth, generosity, and enduring faith will remain a blessing to all who knew her. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing her spirit lives on in the many lives she touched and in the peace of God’s eternal care.
