Condolences
I was so saddened to hear of Sandy’s passing. She was an amazing person who had such a positive impact on my life. I was blessed to hire Sandy at Wawa. She never let me forget how many interviews I put her through! But my intuition was right: she was too good to be true. Of course, she was an excellent associate and excelled in the face of every challenge. She was a person of highest character. Sandy was smart, kind, easy-going but tough as nails, creative and tenacious. She was the heart and soul of the team she created. Sandy loved her family and her friends fiercely. She loved her summers and time on the boat. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her, and if you knew Sandy, you loved her. Rest in peace, Sandy.
I worked with Sandy for roughly 2 years and we sat right next to each other. She knew how to make people laugh and how to help stand up for the team/others. We would always laugh and joke that "everything we love is in a box to the right" when something was not going our way. Sandy helped to make Wawa a better place and the people around her better off. Praying for your family and wishing everyone the best!
I met Sandy through our girls. She was an amazing mom and person. My condolences to the family. Please know you are in my prayers.
I worked with Sandy many years ago, Sandy was always helpful, professional and intelligent - she excelled at her work. I remember how much she loved boating with her husband and kids. So saddened to learn she passed away too young. Prayers for her family!!
Goodbye old friend. You were one of my favorites at Wawa. I have so many memories of us working together in Marketing. If I ever needed advice you were there. You will be missed. You were too young to go. Rest in Peace Sandy
To all of you: Sandra and I did not work directly together but every time I saw her in the Halls at Red Roof, there was that smile that lit up. I know you will get many stories like this. She will be missed by all of you, and all of us❤️. We retired at the same time❤️. Rest easy my friend, Carl Donato
I am so sorry for your extreme loss of such a great person. She was one of my favorite people to work with at Wawa, because of her work ethic and determination. We worked together 10 years before we figured out our Spring Valley Rd and PHS connection. I will miss her smile and her positive energy.
