Obituary of Olga B. Hladasz

Olga B. Hladasz, age 97 years, of Chester, PA died on Sunday at the home of her daughter in Bear, DE. Born in the Ukraine, Mrs. Hladasz arrived in the United States in 1949, and moved to Chester in 1950, where she had been a life long resident. Mrs. Hladasz had been a long time member of Holy Ghost Church, Chester, PA and recently of Holy Myrrh Bearers Eastern Catholic Church in Swarthmore, PA. Mrs. Hladasz had been a seamstress and had worked at various occupations until her retirement in 1975. Wife of the late Petro Hladasz who died in 1989 and grandmother of the late John Hladasz, Jr., and Nicholas Stapan and great-grandmother of Peter Hladasz, III. She is survived by her son: John (Rita) Hladasz and her daughters: Maria (Michael) Wetherill and Anna (Bob) Wilson. She is the grandmother of Mary, Peter, Daniel, Kateryna, Patricia, and Michael Jr., great-grandmother of Amanda, Damien and Catlyn and great-great grandmother of Haylee. Service of Christian Burial on Saturday 10:00AM at Holy Myrrh Bearers Eastern Catholic Church, 900 Fairview Rd., Swarthmore, PA 19081. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday evening after 6:00 PM and Saturday after 8:45 AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA.
