Obituary of Charles J. Russo

Charles J. "Chuck" Russo, age 65, of Wayne, PA, formerly of Upper Chichester, PA, died suddenly on Friday, January 13, 2017. Chuck was a graduate of Holy Saviour Elementary School in Linwood, PA and St. James High School, Chester, PA. Chuck graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering Technologies from Pennsylvania Technical College. Mr. Russo was employed with L.R. Kimball Engineering Consultants, working on the PA Turnpike. Chuck was honored with the Pennsylvania Governor's Award for Williamsport Bikeway, "Excellence in Design of a Highway Related Facility." Chuck was an ardent racquetball competitor and achieved "A" level status in local and state tournaments. He enjoyed yoga and cycling and was a member of the Rails to Trails. Chuck loved the Philadelphia Phillies. He was the son of the late Michael and Rose Marie (Angelo) Russo. Survivors: Sisters: Rosemary Russo Miley, Michele Russo Osborn and Anne Marie "Nancy" Russo Also survived by many nieces and nephews Funeral Service: Saturday, March 25th at 11:00AM at The Church of St. Francis De Sales, 35 New Rd., Aston, PA 19014. Visitation: Saturday, March 25th after 10:00AM at The Church of St. Francis De Sales. Interment: Private.
