Obituary of Pasquale Joseph Olivieri, Jr.

Pasquale “Pat” Joseph Olivieri, Jr., age 93, a 57 year resident of Brookhaven, PA, died at home on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.

Pat was a chief automotive technician for 47 years, retiring in 1997.  Pat was a car enthusiast and after retirement continued his passion as a hobby.

Mr. Olivieri was a U.S. Army Veteran, devoted to his country. He was a Sargeant - T (technical) and upon entering the Army he was a rifleman that upgraded to Mortarman. Due to his highly skilled and technical abilities in determining precise distances and calculations for the firing of mortars, he was asked to stay at the end of his time served due to their need of his expertise. He decided to return home to family and his girlfriend (his wife). He received the Combat Infantry Badge, Korean Service Medal with 2 Bronze Stars, United Nation Service Medal and a Good Conduct Medal.

He was a former member of St. James Episcopal Church, Aston, PA.

Pat loved all animals and enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels daily. He especially loved his dogs, Fritzie and Murphy.  Most of all, Pat was devoted to his family and was a loving husband and father.

Son of the late Pasquale Joseph and Nicoletta (Crognale) Olivieri, Sr.

Daughters: Cathy E. Olivieri and Patty A. Olivieri

Visitation: Wednesday, July 12^th from 10:00-10:45AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, July 12^th at 11:00AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Mt. Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA.
