Obituary of Jennifer Marie Mader

Jennifer M. (Werner) Mader, age 57, of Brookhaven, PA and formerly of Aston, PA, died on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, surrounded by her loving family.

Jen was a graduate of Sun Valley High School, Class of 1984, and she received her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Neumann University in 2012. Jen has been an employee of State Farm Insurance for the last 36 years, holding several positions in fabrications, public affairs, and most recently marketing as an Agency Business Analyst.

Jen enjoyed live music, traveling and gardening. She also liked to cook and had an eye for photography. Most of all, Jen loved being a mom. She cherished time with her sons and is so proud of the young men they have become. Jen is known as a beautiful soul full of kindness and positivity. She will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Sons: Evan J. Mader and Benjamin E. Mader

Parent: Kathleen D. (Shankweiler) Werner and Charles D. Werner, Jr.

Brother: Charles D. Werner, III

Former Husband: Edward J. Mader, Jr.

Also survived by nieces, nephews and many close friends

Visitation: Saturday, September 2nd, from 9:00-10:45AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Saturday, September 2nd at 11:00AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Mt. Hope Cemetery.
