Obituary of Margaret Pritko

Margaret (nee Gladish) Pritko, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.  On March 4th of this year, she celebrated her 100th birthday. A seamstress by trade, Margaret was active in several organizations and very proud of her Ukrainian heritage. She was a faithful and active parishioner of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Northampton, PA., moving to her daughter’s home in Wallingford, PA, where she lived for the past nine years and was a member of St. John Chrysostom Catholic Church.

Margaret enjoyed sewing and taking long walks. She cherished spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren.  Margaret enjoyed making perogies and other traditional Ukrainian foods. She loved dancing and traveling the world.

Margaret had a strong faith and devotion to our Blessed Mother. She was a devoted Mother, Nana and Great-Nana. Margaret was generous, thoughtful and compassionate. She was very involved in helping others in her community. Margaret was a selfless woman who was always placing other’s needs before her own.

Great-Grandchildren: Andrew Pritko, Daniel Pritko, Derek Maddison, Justin Maddison, Aiden Chad, Evan Honsel, Caroline Honsel, Bowie Hersh, Giovanni Vadino, Gina Vadino

Services and Interment will be private.
