Obituary of Edna H. Settine

 

Edna H. Settine (Nee Helms), age 88, of Nottingham, PA, formerly of Brookhaven, PA, died suddenly on Friday, September 15, 2023. Edna was born in Parkside, PA, and was a graduate of Ridley Park High School, Class of 1953. 

Edna was a supervisor at Bell Telephone in her younger years. She was employed with Kmart in Brookhaven, PA for many years and was affectionately known as Ms. Edna to the younger employees.

Edna was a parishioner of the Church of Our Lady of Charity, Brookhaven, PA. 

Edna enjoyed going out with her husband and dancing, especially the jitterbug. She loved spending time at their beach house in Rehoboth Beach and dining out with their friends.  Edna liked baking and gardening.  Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family, especially the grand and great grandchildren.

Wife of the late Ronald F. Settine; Daughter of the late Edward P. and Elva J. Bartow Helms.

Survivors:

Daughter: Rhonda (Wes) Fraim

Son: Greg (Sandy) Settine

Grandchildren: Matt (Jessica), Nicole (Ronnie), Gregory (Kacey) and Eddie

Great-Grandson: Jaxon and Luke

Visitation: Friday, September 22nd from 11:00-11:45AM at the the Church of Our Lady of Charity, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, PA 19015.

Funeral Mass: Friday, September 22nd at 12noon at the Church of Our Lady of Charity.

Interment: Edgewood Memorial Park.
