I am so very sad to learn this morning of the passing of both Dorothy & Maurice Blocklyn. They were dear, devoted, life-long friends of my parents, Joseph and Ruth Whittington. I am remembering today how they were always there for my parents during both the best and worst times of their life -- such a big part of their lives. My parents loved them both. The world is a better place having had Dorothy & Maurice in it. They were a class act. I am happy that I knew them. They will be missed. My sincere sympathy to the family, on the death of their parents. Dr."B" and Dorothy were wonderful people and will leave us with good memories of our own.

Dr. Maurice Blocklyn was a great man who continues to inspire me. His intelligence, wit, love of learning and dedication to teaching were just a few of the attributes of this outstaanding physician and great human being. I extend my sympathy to the family who has lost Maurice and Dorothy.

I am just now seeing this notice. Dr. Blocklyn was always so patient, kind, understanding and willing to teach x-ray staff and students. He would periodically explode, as it were, and then instantly calm down and never hold onto the upset. Such a gentleman! Such a great loss to the Radiology community.

People liked Dr. B and, I am sure, they will cherish the time he spent with them. I will. My deepest condolences to the family.

Wonderful memories of a special couple and their children.

Paul was my favorite swimming student. Phillip was my most interesting collector of specimens in a jar. I could have done without your iguana in a glass container.

Jenny was the pretty princess.
