Obituary of Herman L. Miron, Sr.

1932 - 2016 Herman Ludwig Miron, age 84, of Brookhaven, PA, died Thursday, July 14, 2016 at home. Born in Norristown, PA, Mr. Miron lived in Brookhaven for the last 53 years. He graduated Ridley Park High School in 1951, and was an active member of the Ridley Park High School Alumni Association. Mr. Miron was an Army Veteran who received the Good Conduct Medal, Korean Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and United Nations Service Medal. He was a dedicated employee of IBM as a Computer Technician of Engineering, before retiring in 1991. Mr. Miron was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Brookhaven. Mr. Miron enjoyed many activities such as traveling, hunting and golfing. He also mentored as a Boy Scout Leader for Troop 484 within Christ United Methodist Church. Mr. Miron was a man with a kind heart and enjoyed being with his loving family and friends. Herman was the husband of the late Lois Miner Miron, who passed away in 1995 and the father of the late Herman L. Miron, Jr. Survivors: Daughters: Julia R. (Bill) Grieco and Lynda L.
