Obituary of Catherine F. Gilmore

Catherine F. "Kay" Gilmore, age 81, of Chester PA., died on Friday, October 21, 2016, at home. Born in Chester, she was the daughter of the late Bruce and Nan (Delaney) Gilmore. Kay had been a resident of Brookhaven for 25 years. Kay was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Moylan, PA, and The Saint Francis School of Nursing, Wilmington, DE, where she received her Registered Nursing Degree. Kay had been employed by the Crozer Chester Medical Center as an operating room nurse, until her retirement in 1997. Kay was a great lover of animals. She is survived by her brother James Gilmore, and also by Jean Marie Gorbey, John E. (Linda) McDade and Kathleen (Dave) Peifer. Funeral services on Friday 11:00 AM from the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home Middletown (Rte#352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA, where friends may call after 10:00 AM.
